Sony announces Bid for Greatness

Were you smitten by Sony’s new commercial “Greatness Awaitsâ€? Do you want to wield Captain Kenway’s sword from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag or dress like a Clicker from The Last of Us, well now you have the chance to do so. Sony is auctioning off the equipment used in the trailer in a special auction called “Bid for Greatnessâ€.

The system is simple, by using your gold trophies acquired by playing games and completing specific tasks on Sony products such as the PS3 and PS Vita you can bid on select items such as concept art and gear. These trophies will not be removed from your profile when used. Each item will be available for auction for 24 hours at a specific time and the winner will be contacted through email if they’ve won. Some items have specific requirements such as a minimum bid in order to qualify, so if you’re lacking in in gold trophies you better start collecting. For the complete list and trailer see the link.
