Easy Platinum Trophies #1  Feature by fishdalf

Achievements are becoming more and more integral in this gaming era, and depending on what trophies or gamer points a game offers can make or break somebody’s purchase. We thought we’d focus our attention on the PlayStation 3 in this feature, highlighting some of the easy platinum trophies you can bag yourself:

Burnout Paradise

Having been released before the introduction of trophies; the game was patched and the trophies were tagged as an afterthought.  Because of this none of them are all that hard to obtain, and if you grasp a good understanding of the game early on you can blow through them in a matter of days.

Some are as easy as driving your car into the garage or winning a race, whilst the hardest come from the online portion, where you’re required to complete 10 Freeburn Challenges. The challenges themselves aren’t all too difficult, just time consuming.

It’s worth noting that one of the trophies requires a compatible USB camera, but you can now pick up an EyeToy for buttons.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

If you’re simply looking for trophies on this game you can bag yourself the platinum in a day or two, assuming you have brain cells.

The main adventure is very simple and half of your trophies are achieved by completing the adventure, which can be done in less than 3 hours if you rush through everything and get Nearly Headless Nick to guide you to every single place you need to go.

The only time-zapping thing to do here is find all of the crests and become a master in flying, potions and duelling. The crests can be found via a guide, the rest are too easy for words, and should cause you no hassle whatsoever.

Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Mega Collection

Very simple if you’ve already played through all these games once before, but still easy enough if you haven’t.

Most only require completing the first level, or achieving a point score that’s possible on the first level. There are a few tough ones included, namely the two puzzle ones – Columns and Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine – but with a little patience, luck, and a level skip code or two they should be achievable.

If you put enough time and dedication into this then you should be looking at your platinum within a day or two.

Total Platinum Trophies
: 3
Estimated Time: 7 Days

The best thing we can recommend is to rent as oppose to buy, that way you save money and simply swap games upon completion. Look out for the second part of this feature soon, in which we’ll list even more games featuring easy platinum trophies.

I know the platinum for Sega Mega Drive Collection can be achieved in three days, there's only one hard trophy named "Yatta".

There's a lot more easy platinums, I can remember of one game that you only need is an afternoon, but I won't spoil it. Wink

Good feature!

Very nice recommendations Craig Smile I've done some good progress on Burnout Paradise but lost interest on the game. I think I'm gonna try the Mega Drive Collection in the near future Smile

Yeah that will be my one after i've polished off Harry Potter and had a dabble with Quantum of Solace, although i'm not sure i have patience with that one.

Why have you lost internet? I've noticed your PSN ID hasn't been logged in for some time now.

It's sad if you play these games just for a fake trophy.

The game is Terminator: Salvation. There are 12 gold trophies for you to unlock, all of them by playing the game and passing trough the levels.

lol that last game is called Sonics Ultimate genesis collection here Tongue out

but yea the only trophies (well in my case achievements) that are hard in that one are the ones you mentioned, and surviving to level 3 in alien attack (or whatever it is called) without dying.
