What happened to Ethan Carter?

The reason AVN games genre is growing fast on Steam is because of how fun they are to play. Many gamers may now be seen enjoying games with mature themes. Steam hosts tens of thousands of video games for users to choose from, but it's too easy to get deceived by many games that don't deliver how they initially appear.
On the other hand, Steam's affordable pricing and wide selection of games set this genre apart. However, you will need to put in some work to locate them, as Steam does not include a dedicated section for this. Also, I did the groundwork to compile a list of the best visual novel games that you may find interesting.
The games discussed here are intended for adults only, so please don't even think about buying them unless you're at least 18 years old. Furthermore, this page includes content that some may find offensive due to its explicit nature.
To Be A King - Volume 1
To Be A King from IT Roy is a joy to play if you enjoy history and political dramas. The game successfully conveys the series' signature air of treachery and deceit. You can unlock the endless possibilities in the game with your charisma and craftiness. You can win the hearts of the young ladies in many different ways. The game's narrative is sometimes more enjoyable than the sequences, which is why it's one of the best games I've played. The developers did a fantastic job with a compelling story, zero grinding, and beautiful visuals. There are many explicit sequences if you're also down to that part.
Not to mention that a lot of flexibility is given to the player, while you can meet and fall in love with one, several, or maybe even all of the beautiful princesses in the land. The only drawback, if anyone would want to point out, is that the scenes aren't animated. But the game's plot is well-developed enough to keep you guessing what will happen next, and the characters are well-drawn enough to make you care about how the story turns out, no matter who you are rooting for. The game's approximately 5800 illustrations, 36 racy scenes, and 10 romantic interests give you plenty of opportunities to play through the game again.
Perfect Date
There aren't too many good dating simulators on Steam, and if you're looking for one, Perfect Date by DreamBig Games lets you meet some lovely ladies. It's a romantic game that's realistic and amazing in its attention to detail, allowing you to dive headfirst into a world of desire and luxury. To get beyond the first test and onto the second part of the date, which will take place at your apartment because it includes a fully stocked bar, you can choose how you engage with the situation provided to you. The plot is about as cheesy as it gets, but that's where you get the essence of it.
In Perfect Date, there are two possible outcomes to each interaction with your dates. When you return to your apartment, most choices are self-explanatory. There's still a certain amount of emotional investment required for success. Despite the game's short length, fans of all genres will find memorable characters to root for. The game's characters look like they could be real people because of how realistic the modeling and texturing are. There are 5 ladies at your disposal with several branching paths with consequential decisions. The game is almost fully voiced, with 1300 illustrations and over 50 animations, and overall it's a fun dating simulation.
Make Her Cum
Developers from DreamBig Games and Lemonhaze Studio have taken Make her Cum to a whole new level. It's a simulation game where you induce climaxes in a number of female characters. The game lets you interact with mysterious strangers whom you must ultimately lead to the pinnacle of pleasure. The game's visuals are impressive, but the most animation-friendly personalization character creation tool is what makes it unique. The flexibility it grants, however, is unparalleled. There maybe a few similar games, but none could come close to this game's customizing options. Due to the elaborate nature of the game, the controls can be a bit awkward at times, which can be perfected with future updates, while this doesn't interfere with the gameplay if you adjust the camera angles in the right direction.
Make her Cum offers two different game modes while the objective remains the same. The game comes equipped with a wide variety of toys that you may use on multiple HD female models, and they are all fully animated. The developers have created a fantastic base from which they can add more to the game and improve upon what's already there.
Going Rogue
Playing the protagonist as an undercover cop tasked with infiltrating a criminal, it's no secret that Going Rogue by Ker has great visuals. The game's strongest forte is its engaging narrative, believable characters, multiple paths through the plot, and a wealth of playable endings. Throughout the game, you'll have to make tough choices that will have far-reaching consequences for the story and its characters, while there are three primary romantic paths you can take to help you unwind between crucial decisions.
With so many recent undercooked AVN games making similar claims, it's refreshing to see that Going Rogue actually delivers on its promise that player decisions have real consequences. The depth of the gameplay is surprising. Right off the bat, there are multiple paths to take, making it feel like a AA Game. Going Rogue's gameplay mechanism is quite unique due to the characters you interact with remember your choices, which significantly impacts the plot. You progress through the game by playing through its seven chapters, except for the last chapter, which reveals your conclusion and sees how things stand between you. Going Rogue's price is higher than what you'd expect for the usual Visual Novel games. However, it's well spent with over 3000 still illustrations, hundreds of animations, and around 10 hours of gameplay.
With Eyes Closed - Chapter 1
With Eyes Closed is an upcoming Virtual Novel game from Ker, the developers of Going Rogue, where you step into the role of a protagonist who wakes up in a car’s trunk, handcuffed, and doesn’t recall how he got there. Things unfold from there quickly, and you end up in a hospital where you decide your next moves.
Thankfully, Ker kept the same gameplay mechanisms as Going Rogue, where from the get-go, you'll have your pick of multiple paths; while making certain choices, you'll get flavor text, and while making others, you'll get the "She'll remember that" notification, indicating that your choice had a significant impact on the plot.
With Eyes Closed will soon be featured on Steam while the developers are giving the final touches. You can expect even better.
