I made this topic out of curiosity to know how many NoobFeeders play with an inverted Y axis and vice versa.

If desired, one can also leave a comment and explain how his perception leads him/her to being a normal or inverted gamer. Personally, when I look down I will move my head forward, and if I look up, I will move it backwards, hence why I am an inverted gamer... for console gaming. It doesn't aspply to PC (mouse+keyboard), but since I'm an old school gamer who has always played on consoles, I still consider myself as an inverted gamer more than anything else.

Almost always on normal. But I think I played some game were I used inverted when flying planes or helicopters

As you already know since we've talked about this before, I play on normal when I have the option since that's what I prefer but if I have to I can do ok with inverted as well, but I'm definitely better with normal. Tongue out

it really depends on the game. for camera control, i usually have the Y axis inverted, sometimes even the X axis (if it feels more natural on that game). but usually on FPSs i don't use the inverted axis.

lol I had a feeling someone would go with the X axis ;p It's just the axis that is less commonly spoken of, the X axis really depends on the genre and type of the gameplay for me, pretty much the same as you for the X.

It took me forever to get used to inverted when I was little while playing "big kid games". Now I can't stand normal! So inverted for me. ;L

But I don't play FPSs so it's mostly for camera control and anything with flying.

I become nervy with the inverted option during chases or boss fights. I go for normal most of the times. I had the inverted option on only for Dark Void.

also, when i'm playing a game like assassin's creed or zelda, the left analog is always pointing forward, i make turns with the camera.

Either is fine, but if I have to choose I'll just go with normal. A couple minutes with either and I'll be adjusted.

I play my games on normal controls. Some games have the settings on inverted. It's a little irritating sometimes.
