I can support the writer board as well, since it could be a place they could go and talk about what they might want to write about and coordinate things and it doesn't necessarily have to be private either, since some people have been wondering about the "News" board what about changing that board up a little and have it as a place for the writers to get together and talk about ideas to write about and have a suggestions thread for other users to give ideas on some of the things they'd like to see written about here on Noobfeed? But also have it so that would be the only place anyone not a writer could post on the board, that way they would still be free to use the rest of the board as they wish and everyone else could come by and get a sneak preview on what the writers might possibly be writing about?

I think it's supposed to because we -- in theory anyway -- are supposed to use it to discuss things regarding coverage and how we approach it, editorial standards, and all that other important sounding stuff. And while we've used it for some of that here and there, we mostly end up using it to tell each other what we're working on as to avoid duplicates and such. All the important stuff is discussed over e-mails these days. But even so, it'd probably be best to keep it private in just in case.
However, your suggestion to open a thread for users to tell us what they want to see content wise is one that we should definitely do. I'm sure the team would be thrilled to hear what you guys would like to see from us.
