Franz Kafka was a renowned 20th century writer whose work tended to focus on darker subject matter. A great platform for a video game right? Well, someone thinks so.

The Russian game developer Denis Galanin has over ten years of experience in the industry; he created the adventure game Hamlet and is now developing The Franz Kafka. On his website he describes The Franz Kafka as "A classic adventure game based on twisted Franz Kafka's novels." The game's hero, simply named K., is suddenly offered employment and finds his life quickly changing. Forced to venture beyond his homeland K. finds the world is not quite what he thought. The Franz Kafka promises an intriguing atmosphere of absurdity and uncertainty with high-definition graphics and original puzzles.
