Looks like the rumors are true and the New Nintendo 3DS will launch in North America on February 13. Nintendo made the announcement today on their Nintendo Direct stream. Included in the New Nintendo 3DS are a faster processor, a C-Stick, additional shoulder buttons, Amiibo support, and longer battery life. The system will launch in two colors, black and red, and will be priced at $199.
Yesterday a leaked image showing the New Nintendo 3DS was revealed showing that the system would launch on February 13.
The new Nintendo 3DS was first shown back in 2014 on a Nintendo Direct Stream for Japan. The updated Nintendo 3DS released in Japan on October 11 2014.
