Marcus Fenix Returns as Squad Leader in Gears of War 4 Trailer

The latest trailer for Gears of War 4 features an aged Marcus Fenix taking point and the new enemy being featured in the game.

Time hasn't beaten Marcus Fenix yet, with the veteran warrior leading the charge with his son and his friends behind him. During the trailer we see Marcus returning to his original home and fending off a brand new enemy.

Unlike the other creatures we've seen these foes are entirely mechanical. Featuring standard cannon-fodder sentries, hovering shielded drones, and rolling sentinels that explode, similar to Tickers. New weapons such as a refined version of the Gears of War 1 Hammerburst, a submachine gun called the Enforcer, a double-barrel shotgun, and railgun called the EMBAR were shown.

Gears of War 4 will launch on October 11 for Xbox One and Windows 10. It'll be the first game to feature Microsoft's Cross-Play feature.
