When Obsidian Entertainment teased their new project a couple of days ago, people went into a speculation frenzy. Some hoped for a new Fallout, while other voices were praying for more Pillars Of Eternity. Now we know the latter's wishes are fulfilled as Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire has not only taken to Fig for crowdfunding, but also been fully funded with the first stretch goal being in full reach. The new title will have players follow Eothas, that one god that was presumed dead but which returned leaving a big crater where the keep of Caed Nua used to be.
Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire will have us exploring the Deadfire archipelago, an area yet unseen of Obsidian's world. Old characters are said to return alongside new faces who will help in our journey. The Fig page states that this will be a continuation of our story as Watcher, allowing us to see how we shaped the Dyrwood through our actions. $29 is enough to get your hands on a digital copy of the game, while $149 will mean you get a physical collector's edition. You can check out all the funding options on the Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire Fig page. The estimated time of delivery for the rewards is set for Q1 2018.
