SteamWorld Dig 2 will join the roster of titles coming to Nintendo's new console this year.

After SteamWorld Heist took us on an cowboy robot-filled adventure through space, Image & Form plan to bring us down to earth and a good bit below it. In this respect, they've announced SteamWorld Dig 2 is coming out this year. As with all their previous titles, Nintendo consoles will be the first to recieve the game and this time, we are talking about the Nintendo Switch.
SteamWorld Dig 2 is expected to release sometime in Summer 2017. No news on other platform releases as of yet, however, the developer's past titles have made it unto Steam, so we're keeping our fingers crossed. You can head on over to the SteamWorld Dig 2 section on the developer's homepage to have a closer look at it.
While you're here, you can check out our Steamworld Dig: A Fistful Of Dirt Review, Steamworld Dig Review, and Steamworld Heist Review for thoughts on the developer's previous titles (we quite like 'em!)
