As we draw closer to the release of In The Name Of The Tsar, Battlefield 1 takes further steps in giving those who've yet to purchase its Premium Pass a glimpse of what's inside. Premium Trials will be timed events that will allow owners of the base game to play Premium Pass maps. As opposed to Premium Friends, Premium Trials just requires one to log into the game. The first such event will run with the launch of the new Prise De Tahure map this month. Another event will pop up before Gamescom and in September. The current Premium Friends period also runs until Gamescom (which happens between the 22nd and 26th of August).

In The Name Of The Tsar, Battlefield 1's next expansion, will launch in September bringing the Russian Army alongside six new maps, new weapons, vehicles and more. Lupkow Pass will provide an early taste of the expansion in August. It's also worth noting that the Women's Battalion Of Death will be present ingame as the Russian Sniper class. The following expansion, Turning Tides comes in December and has players witnessing the Zeebrugge Raid and Gallipoli Offensive, among other things. Lastly, Battlefield 1 will join the EA and Origin Access roster, being available for play to all subscribers. Have a look at the full blog post on the game's website.
