One of the most anticipated DLC packages for Final Fantasy XV has to be the multiplayer expansion. Officially a closed beta will be available for those who own the season pass.
Called Comrades the beta will start on August 3rd and end August 8th. The beta will include a character customization with a limited array of options, with the full version including 8 different avatars. Playstyle and weapons are limited as well offering katana, club, dagger, and shuriken with Noctis-based attacking.
As for playable character, players will be able to access 3 different quests. Up to 3 players are allowed using matchmaking. The full version will include full story lines and single-player content. Players can choose between AI or player controlled allies and prepare meals before adventures.
The closed beta will be available on Xbox One and PS4. Currently, no plans to open the beta to others who don't own a season pass but this could change seeing that there's no official release date.
Final Fantasy XV is now available for Xbox One and PS4. Episode Ignis is set to release December 2017.
