The Last of Us 2 is About 60 Percent Complete

Naughty Dog has been hard at work making The Last of Us 2, and the company has confirmed that 60% of the game is complete.

This was a brief development updated and shouldn't be taken seriously. During a panel at this year's PSX game director Neil Druckmann stated that he wasn't entirely sure how far they were in development but it's progressing nicely.

“We’ve handed off a bunch of levels…. We’re like 50 to 60 percent? I don’t know how far.”

This doesn't mean if the game reaches 100% completion that it's done and ready for shipment. There's still testing, QA, bug fixes, and much more to do afterward to ensure a polished game.

The Last of Us 2 will release on PS4.
