God of War Will Feature Side Quests And Fights With Norse Gods

The God of War franchise is taking on a new direction with the next game. Not only is it set in a brand new land and focused on Norse mythology but it'll also feature side quests.

In the previous games Kratos would go from one objective to the next, but now you can take on optional quests on this journey. Game director, Cory Barlog, confirmed in an interview that side quests will be part of the game but they won't deviate from the critical path and feature smaller objectives along the way.

Barlog also confirmed that puzzles, fights against Norse gods, and even how the game made the transition from Greek to Norse mythology will be featured in the game. A question that may God of War fans have been asking since the game's reveal.

God of War is in development for PS4.
