Take-Two Renews Manhunt IP, New Game On The Way?
Another Manhunt coming soon?

Rockstar is most notoriously known for the Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption series, but older fans of the studio will also remember their Manhunt series. One of the most controversial games ever made where the player attempts to gain their freedom through a series of levels called scenes. 2 games were released in the series and included the most gruesome killing animations and violence of the PlayStation 2 era. Rockstar originally published the games but Take-Two has renewed the IP.
This could be Take-Two wanting to gain ownership of the IP, as Manhunt hasn't had a new game since 2007 with Manhunt 2. The game still has a cult following and considered one of the best psychological horror games ever made. Seeing the success of Resident Evil 7, The Evil Within 2, and Five Nights at Freddy's Take-Two might want dive into the horror franchise.
If anything they might remake the games for modern consoles but considering the gruesome nature of the original games modernizing them with current graphics would without a doubt draw massive controversy.
