Spider-Man PS4 Getting a Tie-In Prequel Novel

Insomniac's Spider-Man PS4 releases this fall and is one of the most anticipated games of this year. Created by talented developers and passionate fans the game sets to capture what it's like to be Spider-Man and the story is getting a prequel novel.

Reported by Polygon, 2 novels have been announced to coincide with Insomniac Games from Titan Books. The first one is called Spider-Man: Hostile Takeover and will release on August 21st and will be written by David Liss. It'll feature characters such as Shocker, Echo, the Blood Spider, and J. Jonah Jameson.

The second book is called Marvel's Spider-Man: The Art of the Game by Paul Davies and will release on September 11th. It'll include images from the games initial designs and concept art.

Spider-Man PS4 will release on September 7th for PS4. Those who preorder the game will gain immediate access to 3 costumes, skills points, early access to the Spider-Drone, custom PS4 theme, and Spider-Man PSN avatar.
