The Nintendo Switch 2 has many features in store that gamers didn’t get with the original Nintendo Switch, one of which is some of the new accessories that are now compatible with the new console.

When a brand new console is released, gamers are already asking questions about what this new device will bring them in terms of content, enjoyment, and hardware.

Some of the new tech accessories gamers can purchase with their new Nintendo Switch is a Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller, which works similarly to the previous Pro controller, a brand new Joy-Con 2 charger grip which magnetically connects the joy-cons to it - same with the Joy-Con 2 Wheels which magnetic the Joy-Cons to the mini wheel. The best accessory of all so far is the brand-new camera.

There are two new cameras that can be connected to the Nintendo Switch 2, allowing players to video chat with their friends while gaming. What makes the cameras even cooler is that there are two different ones for gamers to select.

The first is the Nintendo Switch 2 Camera, a basic black standing desk camera, while the second is a Hori Piranha Plant Camera for Nintendo Switch 2. This camera looks super cool and allows players to clip it onto their TV or computer monitor.

Either camera comes with the setup process when it is time to connect it to the Nintendo Switch 2. Another important note is that not only are these two cameras compatible with the console, but any camera that has a USB-C plug-in will work just fine. However, Nintendo’s official product might be more recommended to make sure no issues occur.

When it comes to connecting and setting up a camera for use on the Nintendo Switch 2, gamers will be able to set it up wherever and however they prefer. This includes if the camera is in tabletop mode, TV mode, or even handheld mode.

The console has a USB-C port located directly on the top of the console. This can be used for either charging the console while sitting in certain positions or plugging in the camera.

After the camera has been plugged into the console, now it is just time to adjust the angle. If the official Nintendo Switch 2 camera is being used, it can allow for a wide view as well, allowing for more people to fit within the view and have fun in the video chat as well.
