A Crack In Time

By fishdalf, Posted 16 Aug 2010

Continuing on my trophy hunt I recently picked up Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time and am enjoying it immensly. It brings back all the memories from playing the older ones from the previous generation, only with crisper graphics and some very tightly-knit gameplay indeed. I'm especially loving the Buzz Blades you unlock, which are not only effective in battle but a tonne of fun to use.

I've just got my hands on the RYNO-V gun just in time for my final fight with Vorselon. The gun destroys pretty much anything in its path, so I'm not too worried about it to be honest. Then after that it's a quick sweep of the game for anything I've missed, then I'll delve into the Challenge Mode. Hopefully I should have this back at Blockbusters in time for the weekend.

  • I agree, A Crack in Time is an absolute blast to play. However, it's the first time that I play a R&C game because my favorite is still Crash Bandicoot, still, R&C is a solid platform game and totally recommended.

  • @canana:

Glad you enjoyed it, but as I say; not surprised.

Did you use the RYNO gun against the final bosses?

  • I use to enjoy playing Ratched & Clank 2 and 3 on my PS2. I was just a little dissapointed by how short Gladiator was.

  • @keladis:

This game is a little short too, but what you do get to play is well worth it. Plus you have the collecting afterwards, although I always find that aspect a piece of cake.

  • Heard a lot about these games, though I personally never played them. Perhaps I should start being more interested in it though, as the only thing I hear are always good comments about it o_O

  • I cant remember if I completed A Crack in Time.  I was having fun while I played it though.  Good game.

  • @FetusZero: If you're a fan of platformers then it's a must.
