E3 is now over and we’ve seen the large majority of what we’re going to see, until Gamescom and other conventions roll around. We still need you to know who did what in a general sense, in case you didn’t feel like going through Adam’s recaps, even though you should. So, we’ll break it down one more time and give you some flames to throw fuel on, by ranking the press events from stinkiest to shiniest diamond. We’ll do it real quick and with bullet points, because convenience. We’ll start with the bottom of the pack and work our way to this year’s winner:

8. PC Gaming Show

+

Some indie focus

-

So boring

Obvious ad service

Comparatively few worthwhile reveals

Amateurish display

7. EA

+

Battlefront looks awesome

Finally Mirror’s Edge details

-

All flash, little substance

Garden Warfare 2 is ok, I guess…

Hoop God a.k.a. Cringe Lord

Someone stupid will discredit this ranking over this gif alone.

6. Ubisoft

+

Rainbow Six nose wiggle wins E3

Ghost Recon Wildlands ultimately looks fun

-

Guns and knives and cars and more guns

For Honor is just big budget Chivalry

Jason Deru-no

5. Square Enix

+

Star Ocean V reclaims series

Kingdom Hearts III; yes, please

Just Cause 3, also

-

Troll levels of talking

Stop revealing mere names

4. Nintendo

+

So many cool new games

Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi in one

Still produces the richest, no nonsense line-up

-

Low third party focus

Amiibo craze is still dumb

3. Bethesda

+

Fallout 4

Dishonored 2

Doom

Actual gameplay and details

-

Android users don't exist

2. Microsoft

+

Mind-blowing, jam-packed presentation

Still repping Cuphead hard

Finally a lot more than just guns and sports

-

That car stunt could’ve financed ten indie games

Kinect is dead

1. Sony

+

When you announced The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy VII remake and Shemnue III in one take, you just win, ok?
