Monster Hunter: World, How to Get All Secret Poogie Costumes

Locations of the secret Poogie costumes in Monster Hunter: World

If you managed to befriend Poogie the pig you'll notice he has access to an array of costumes. Apparently, the pig is a well-known character within the franchise, making at least 1 appearance per game. While the Monster Hunter Mascot doesn't have any significant purpose befriending the little guy will grant you some items occasionally and dress him up.

Let's Be Friends

First off you need to get Poogie to like you. It can be vexing at times but as long as you remind yourself to pet Poogie after each hunt he'll eventually trust you. Each time an exclamation mark appears over his head before petting, causing Poogie to burst into hearts. Once he becomes friendly Poogie will greet the player whenever they arrive in Astera.

Now that Poogie likes you pick him up and carry him around the village. When the controller rumbles, indicating something is there, set Poogie down and he'll dig up the item. If the vibrate function is not enabled wait for Poogie to wang its tail.

Time for Costumes

Keep in mind you cannot claim all the costumes in one go and must get them between hunts. The first one is located in the northwest corner of the biologist area, in front of the stone slab. The next is located in front of the pong by the botanist. The Apprentice Fiver is located at the Commander's table. Set Poogie down next to the Huntsman near the white flag.

The last outfit is located in the workshop, up the stairs, and out the back. Continue up the stairs, all the way to the top, until reaching a viewing platform. Set Poogie down there and he will bring players the Emperor’s New Duds costume.

Monster Hunter World is available now for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC release planned for later this year.
