The Soul Eater is a more complicated fight than the previous bosses. Here's how to defeat it.
The battle will begin with it firing hot pieces of stone at you. Evade and throw them back get in a few attacks before hitting R3 to trigger the pummel animation. Beast the creature till it pushes you off.
When the Soul Eater regains its footing either use the stone on the floor to expose its weak point or throw your ax when it shoots fire at you. Don't try to melee the creature, it'll stomp its foot and push you back the second you try.
Adds will appear, use Atreus to distract the monsters while you focus on the Soul Eater. You should defeat it before the adds overwhelm you.
