The game looks alright for a mobile title. The bright character icons make it easier to see allies but it's hard not to notice the blocky environment and lack of detail. Honestly, if you could it's probably best to get one of the console versions.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles released back on the Gamecube and it received a mostly mixed reception from fans and critics. The fantasy world and colorful bosses were a highlight among players but the major issue was the restrictive multiplayer requirements. Players needed 3 Gameboys Advances or Game Advance SPs and Gameboy Advance Adaptors to connect to the console to play the multiplayer option. There were no alternatives so for most players, the multiplayer is inaccessible due to the expensive requirements.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition launches on Switch, Mobile Devices, and PS4 this August 27th.
