Day of the Devs: Game Kitchen Reveals Free Blasphemous DLC

Today during the Day of the Devs portion of the Summer Game Fest July Showcase, developers The Game Kitchen showed off new content coming to their hit indie title Blasphemous. Blasphemous is getting a new free DLC, called The Stir of Dawn, which will feature a lot of new content and battles. Aside from this, the game is also getting a New Game+ Mode called “True Cavalry,” which has a lot of changes coming to the game.

True Cavalry will give players access to Penances, which are gameplay modifiers which make the game harder, but also a whole new Quest Line coming to the game available only in True Cavalry. Alongside True Cavalry and The Stir of Dawn, a lot of fan requested features, such as an updated map screen and a new NPC focused on your Bile Vessels, and new Warp Points to make getting around easier.

Blasphemous: The Stir of Dawn launches August 4th.
