The small documentary Pete Rowbottom, the 2018 Landscape Photographer of the Year winner, was invited to try out the Death Stranding's photo mode.

To showcase the epic landscapes seen throughout Hideo Kojima’s DEATH STRANDING - the critically-acclaimed and genre-defying epic from KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS - the independent video game development studio has invited 2018 Landscape Photographer of the Year winner and avid gamer, Pete Rowbottom, to embark on a journey to explore and experiment with the game’s unique Photo Mode features before seeking out similar hostile, but beautiful landscape scenes to capture in real life.

Death Stranding follows Sam, a courier living in a post-apocalyptic world. Death carries a new serious consequence, with creatures called BTs attacking anything alive and the dead turning into more BTs. Timefall rain has been accelerating anything it touches and what's left of humanity lives in bunkers that depend on people to deliver life-sustaining resources. As Sam, you'll travel across the US and attempt to reconnect everyone into a modern version of the internet by gaining the trust of people by making deliveries. All while trying to find someone Sam lost a long time ago.

Death Stranding is now available for PS4 and PC.
