Since Batman Arkham Origins a teaser for Suicide Squad has been in the cards for the future of the Arkham series. Now its official and launching this 2022 called Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Rocksteady confirmed the news today with a flashy trailer showing off some impressive CGI trailer featuring Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang. Amanda Wallace wants her squad to kill the Justice League but the reasons are unknown. With the trailer showing that their leader Superman has gone rogue when he kills a pilot. Many have made note of Superman's face with parts of red hue sprinkled in, leaving many to speculate that he's under the influence of red kryptonite.
A short discussion was provided confirming that each of the members will have unique fighting tactics. It'll take place in Metropolis. The game will include 4-player cooperative action but single-player is an option with bots, with single-player allowing players to switch characters in-game.
Recently Gotham Knights was revealed but only Suicide Squad is related to the Arkham universe.
