Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will launch this November 13th, with a multiplayer trailer coming this September 9th. PS4 players will get early access to the beta if you pre-order the digital version of the game.

Confirmed through screenshots is the campaign will feature locations such as East Berlin, Vietnam, and Turkey. With the Soviet KGB being part of the campaign. Zombies will return and this will be a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops. With Hudson, Woods, and Mason making a return along with the character creation tool. Similar to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 the custom character will have options available to them with more freedom and extra missions and dialogue options.

Similar to Xbox One and PS4 upgrades during this console generation's start, players will need to pay $10 more for a next-gen upgrade. Unlike CD Projekt RED and Square Enix who are offering free upgrades to Cyberpunk 2077 and Marvel's Avengers. Which is completely backward but of course you have to do it or pay full-price for the next-gen edition.

In more unsettling news despite the game's tagline being "Know Your History" in the debut trailer Slasher found that Activision removed the Tiananmen Square footage from the original trailer and reuploaded it in all regions. This isn't new as companies have been altering footage and other aspects of their products to appeal to China's government and release in the country.

best part of the new Call of Duty tagline being 'Know Your History' is the debut Cold War trailer got blocked in China for having Tiananmen Square footage, Activision took it down, removed the TS footage, and reuploaded ALL international trailer versions without it
