Marvel's Avengers has been struggling since its launch. The game debuted with heavy technical issues that made multiplayer problematic to join and before the game launched Spider-Man was confirmed to be a PlayStation exclusive to everyone's annoyance. Since its launch, the game has suffered from a low-player base, and recently the developer confirmed they would be making it harder to gain levels. Well, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are not giving up with Black Panther joining the roster soon.

During the 40-minute presentation, Square Enix confirmed the news that the War for Wakanda expansion will add the Wakandan Jungle to the mix. Klaw, who murdered the father of T'Challa T'Chaka. Not much was revealed after this but it'll launch this year.

It's possible for Marvel's Avengers to recover as live service titles like No Man's Sky and Star Wars Battlefront 2 have done the impossible as well. However, gamers have been moving from this title to other games. As of now, the game has peaked with 1K players on Steam this month, which is abyssal seeing games like Fallout 4 peaked at 15K this month and even Dark Souls 2 has seen over 2K players in the last 30 days.

Marvel's Avengers is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
