Alan Wake Remastered Spotted on Epic Games Store

With the final DLC for Control many wondered when Alan Wake would make a return. It seems the acclaimed writer is coming back according to a leak on the Epic Games Store.

The leak states that Alan Wake Remastered is in the works. If it does happen it'll likely include improved performance and all the DLC released.

Alan Wake launched originally as an Xbox 360 exclusive before coming to PC years later. The title received positive reception but released within days of Rockstars Red Dead Redemption. Which likely is the reason sales were poor along with the exclusive deal with Microsoft. Recently, Remedy did purchase the rights to the IP from Microsoft so Remedy owns Alan Wake now.

Regardless, the game had a sequel planned but was canceled and the project turned into Alan Wake's American Nightmare which received positive reception but many wanted a sequel. Hopefully, the franchise will return and with Remedy creating a connected universe we could see his return soon.
