THQ Nordic Announces Way of the Hunter

In Way of the Hunter, the hunt's tension, excitement, and thrill are finally brought to life through the eyes of a highly experienced, ethical huntsman, bringing the hunt to life. Way of the Hunter is a roleplaying game developed by Nine Rocks Games in Slovakia for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X. Way of the Hunter introductory video was published by THQ Nordic along with this update.

 

A seasoned hunter who has just taken over his grandfather's hunting lodge and the chance to continue the family legacy of selling high-quality game meat will be the protagonist of this roleplaying game. The user may explore a vast region of the gorgeous environment thanks to various biomes available to them. The hunter is faced with the problem of watching animal trails while carefully tracking and avoiding discovery from the razor-sharp senses of his target while remaining undetected.

“With Way of the Hunter, we are going to start a new franchise” said David Dur?ák, CEO, Nine Rocks Games. “The Way of the Hunter franchise finally gives this expansive audience of players a hunting experience as rich in story-telling as it is realistic in ballistic simulation. To create the best game possible, we've assembled a seasoned team of skilled professionals, who worked on games like DayZ or the Cabela's hunting games before.”

The realistic handling of firearms and bullet mechanics in Way of the Hunter's broad array of genuine hunting equipment and weaponry, including licensed rifles and scopes, adds to the game's overall realism. One in the United States and one in Europe, each measuring 55 square miles (144 km2) and featuring its own simulated animal environment, are included in the game's open-world hunting regions. Co-op multiplayer mode lets players go out into breathtaking nature with their friends and enjoy the thrill of the chase on their most epic hunting expeditions to date.
