With today's announcement at the Future Games Show, Bright Memory: Infinite, a high-octane and aesthetically gorgeous first-person shooter from FYQD Studio and PLAYISM, will be available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch alongside the previously announced Xbox Series X|S edition.
Raytracing with reflections is supported at 60 frames per second on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game. Additionally, a performance mode that runs at 120 frames per second is also available for those who want the best possible experience when engaging in battle. DualSense adaptive trigger features are only available on the PlayStation 5 in this edition.
However, the Nintendo Switch, which runs locally on hardware and not over the cloud, has the gyroscopic aiming capability and multi-sampling of TAA anti-aliasing for a stunning mobile presentation. The PC version's downloadable content (DLC) will also be included in the console versions.
A first-person shooter with the intensity of a hack-and-slash action game, Bright Memory: Infinite was initially published on PC in 2021. Combine modern troops and demons from ancient Chinese mythology with various weapons, acrobatic moves, and mental skills. A vast and branching skill tree may unlock new powers and upgrades.
Players will take the role of Shelia in Bright Memory: Infinite, the special agent, and solve the riddle of why a black hole popped up during Chinese New Year festivities. Armed to the teeth, Shelia takes on those who desire to exploit this phenomenon and the creatures it produces. Discover two parallel universes entwined in time and the mysterious masked figure at their center.
The indie game creator, FYQD Studio, stated, "I realize people had to wait a little longer, but my partners and I felt we wanted to take as long as possible to bring Bright Memory: Infinite to consoles. We used the additional time to fine-tune the game on each platform. Despite my confidence in the game's availability, it still seems like a "miracle" to play Bright Memory: Infinite on consoles."
With support for English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese text and voice, as well as Traditional Chinese, Latin American Spanish, and German text, Bright Memory: Infinite will be available later this year on Xbox One X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
