Asterigos: Curse of The Stars Gets A Steam Demo and Launch Date

Acme Gamestudio and publisher tinyBuild are pleased to announce that the action role-playing game Asterigos: Curse of The Stars will be released on October 11th, and a playable demo is now available on Steam. Players are welcome to take their first dangerous steps into this magical realm of swords and sorcery.

The setting of Asterigos, an action role-playing game played in the third person, draws equally from Greek and Roman mythology. Players assume the role of Hilda, a courageous young warrior on a mission to unravel the mysteries of Aphes, a cursed city whose residents have been converted into monstrous abominations that will never rest. Hilda will need to learn a wide variety of combat methods and weapons to complete her mission, including the use of a sword and shield, dual blades, spears, and hammers, as well as the use of strong staves and charmed bracelets for magical purposes.

 

Exploring Aphes will be risky even with her strength and power. There are dozens of different kinds of monsters to fight around the city's streets, plazas, and abandoned buildings. There is a lethal beauty to this location, with a network of sunlight valleys, crystalline caves, and exquisite plazas all waiting to be explored in the tried and true manner of the soul. However risky it may be to explore, the city has many riches and ancient secrets for those who are willing to take the risk.

Those who have been waiting for the right moment to start their trip may do so now. The Asterigos demo, which can be found on Steam, covers the beginning of Hilda's perilous adventure and includes the game's first boss fight. Playable demos may be found on Steam right now, with console releases to follow.

On October 11th, Asterigos: Curse of the Stars will be available for purchase on PC, PS4 Pro, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One, and Xbox Series platforms. The date of pre-orders is set for September 9th.
