The Next Tera Raids for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Revealed
Pokémon fans will need to stay on their toes as there are even more Tera Raids coming.

It seems that Pokémon fans will not get a chance to catch their breath as the next seven-star Tera raid boss battle will be arriving soon for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This announcement comes shortly after the previous ongoing Tera Raids for March 2023 has come to an end.
Players will not have much time to prepare for the next upcoming seven-star Tera raid battle, which is the sixth Tera Raid since the game's release back in November of 2022. This Tera Raid comes just after players fought against Decidueye the Unrivaled. This raid continued the trend that we saw with previous boss Pokémon being a level 100 starter Pokémon previously seen in the past mainline Pokémon games.
It is very likely that the next Tera Raid will continue with the same trend. This time around, according to a tweet made by Serebii.net, players will be facing off against Samurott the Unrivaled. Samurott will have the Tera-type Bug. In a few days, players will be able to face off against the fearsome shell sword-wielding Pokémon. The raid will begin on Friday, 31 March 2023, and end on Sunday, 2 April 2023. As per usual, if players were unable to beat Samurott the Unrivaled the first time round, they will have another chance to face them on Friday, 7 April 2023until Sunday, 9 April 2023.
Samurott first made its appearance in Pokémon Black and White, which were released back in 2010 for the Nintendo DS. Interestingly enough, both Samurott and the boss Pokémon that came before it, Decidueye the Unrivaled, had both received Hisuian regional forms in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. However, Samurott will not be in its Hisuian form and will rather be in its original Unovan form.
Samurott will likely have Shell Armor as its hidden ability, this may prove to be a challenge as the ability prevents it from taking critical hits. Upon defeating Samurott the Unrivaled, players will receive the Mightiest Mark. This mark will be automatically applied to any Pokémon caught in a 7 Star Raid.
As for what types of moves to expect from the formidable Pokémon, it will most likely have moves that will boost its attacks such as Swords Dance and Focus Energy. Due to it being a mixed attacker, Samurott may also have access to moves such as Surf, Hydro Cannon, and Mega Horn. It may also try to make use of STAB (same-type attack bonus). Due to the Bug Tera-typing on top of its regular water typing, players should avoid using Fire and Rock-type Pokémon.
With such little time to prepare, it seems that players will have quite a challenge ahead of them if they wish to face off against Samurott the Unrivaled. Along with the sixth Tera Raid coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the upcoming patch for April 2023 will hopefully resolve some ongoing issues with the game as it prepares for the upcoming DLC.
