Five Nights At Freddy's Movie Gets a New Teaser

Five Nights at Freddy’s, as a series, drew so many people to its community and fandom that it actually led to more than 10 games and countless spinoffs in the market through its lifespan. It has been such a long time since the first game, and now people consider it as “nostalgic” or a game from their childhood. Now that FNAF has reached its peak, there is nothing better than just creating a movie about it right? Well, that’s exactly what happened today.

Universal Studios, the company that is creating the movie, has finally released the teaser trailer for the beloved horror game. Before the release, there were actual leaks of the trailer going around in forums and Discord channels. When the leaks were in circulation, the creator of the movie Scott Cawthon released a statement about the leaks and how they were incomplete, and asked fans to wait for the polished product instead. If we take a look at the trailer, we can easily understand that the dark atmosphere of FNAF has been projected well and captures the feel of both nostalgia and horror at the same time. And if we inspect the trailer further, we can find the characters that were prominent in the first game, basically FNAF movie will be based around the first entry of the series.

 

Fans have been waiting since 2015 when the first bit about Five Nights at Freddy’s movie was in making. A hefty 8 years later, fans of the series are finally getting what they were promised. According to the trailer and given information on Universal Studios’ own website, Five Nights at Freddy’s movie will arrive at Peacock streaming service and local theaters on 27th of October, which is a nice date as it is a few days before Halloween. We certainly did see what they have done and that is a good move by the movie team.
