With only a few days left in the month, surprisingly, it would appear that Game Freak has released Update 1.3.1 for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This new update seems to address and fix bugs that were present in the game's battle tournament. Meaning that not much else is coming with this update.
The most recent Tera Raid to come to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet allowed players to face off against the paradox versions of Donphan, Great Tusk and Iron Treads, which are version exclusives in their respective games. In addition to this, players also had a chance to face off against the 7-star Chestnaught, the Unrivaled, and was set for another round. However, it would seem that due to some game breaking bugs that the Tera Raid has been postponed.
As mentioned before, the main purpose of Update 1.3.1 was to resolve an issue that players were having with the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet battle tournament. The bug in question was with regards to an invitation-only competition that was hosted in Japan and South Korea, which caused players to be unable to exit battles menus and not be able to request rematches against their opponents. This bug may not seem to be a major issue but it did cause problems during the Pokemon World Championship Qualifier Tournaments, and prevented these events from running smoothly. Currently these tournaments have been postponed and will continue once more over the weekend.
We have yet to see everything that is coming within this new update, as we have yet to receive a full in-depth patch note list as of writing. However, Pokémon fans shouldn't get their hopes up for new information regarding Pokémon Home, as it is incredibly unlikely that we will get any updates regarding Pokémon Home and how it would be implemented with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The Pokemon Home 3.00 update was originally slated to be coming this week, but it was clarified to be a communication mix-up with the company's international branches and was meant to be about Scarlet and Violet compatibility.
We currently do not know when this new update will arrive, but we will likely be getting it soon, possibly in the next week or so. The Pokémon company has assured trainers that the update is just about ready to be released. Players still need to be patient as due to issues this the previous Tera Raid that happened last week, future Tera Raids have currently been put on hold and will likely resume once the patch has been released.
