Survival horror game Alien: Isolation sees its release date set on October 7, 2014. Publisher Sega will bring the game from developer Creative Assembly to stores for Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4 and PC. It will try to go back to the psychological times of the Alien franchise, where xenomorph predators spend more time lurking in the shadows.
In other news, Sega also announced the arrival of a Company of Heroes 2: The Western Front Armies as a standalone multiplayer expansion in June 2014. This addition to the PC strategy game, formerly of defunct publisher THQ, will add two new factions, one for the US and one for the German side. Both sides receive their own units, vehicles, abilities and so on. Eight new multiplayer maps return to the icy locations of the Western locations. There will also be a new progression system put into place for this release.
