Today developer Night Dive Studios has released the first footage of System Shock Remastered.
The pre-alpha footage highlights the new detailed environments and combat.
The original System Shock released on MS-DOS in 1994 with critically acclaim. Night Dive Studios then purchased the rights to the game from the Star Insurance Company after the original developer, Looking Glass Studios, was forced to relinquish all assets after closing. Night Dive Studios then re-released the game as System Shock: Enhanced Edition.
The company then confirmed that they were working on completely reimagining the original game for release.
