Castlevania Spiritual Successor Delayed to 2018

Kickstarter projects have become notorious for letting people down, now another crowd-funded game is getting delayed. The spiritual successor to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Bloodrain: Ritual of the Night, has been delayed to mid-2018.

In a recent post by Koji Igarashi, "The last thing I want to do is keep our backers waiting, but after receiving such incredible support, I feel responsible for delivering the best product I possibly can. Again, I offer my sincerest apologies."

In light of the bad news Igarashi reassured fans that more people were being brought in to aid in development. 

Igarashi explained that he wants the project to be done right the first time. 

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will launch on PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, PS Vita, Windows 10, Linux, and Mac in mid-2018.
