Super Mario Run Multiplayer Now Available

Nintendo's new mobile game has more DLC on the way, this time being a new mode called Friendly Run.

This mode allows people to compete with one another, if they're on your friend's list, in a Toad Rally like level. Unlike Toad Rally tickets are not required but players are limited to five plays and none of the Toads/coins won or lost will be added to your Kingdom Builder.

Added more limitations will only add to the criticism. Since its release Super Mario Run has been hit with harsh comments from the game's community for Nintendo advertising the game as free-to-play but requiring players to pay before unlocking the rest of the game. 

Super Mario Run is now available for iOS devices and has been downloaded over 40 million times.
