Kingdom Come: Deliverance's combat aims for both complexity and accesibility.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance comes out in a couple of months and Warhorse Studios have dedicated their latest video to detailing the game's combat system. Kingdom Come: Deliverance boasts a physics-based combat, with swords clashing against and sliding along the armor. The system uses three types of attacks (slashes, stabs and kicks) that can be landed from five different directions (aiming for the head, left or right upper body and left or right lower body). A combo system is also in place. Chaining attacks will, thus, lead to weakened enemies that can be finished with special attacks. As for the available arsenal, axes, maces, swords, shields, spears and daggers can be seen in the video.

Stamina management will also be important in battle. Having a low stamina level will lead to weaker attacks and blocks. Low health, bleeding, hunger or tiredness will also affect your stamina level. Unarmed combat will be making an appearance as well. Have a look at the full video for all the details. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an upcoming story-driven, open-world RPG set in medieval Bohemia. The game will be out on the February 13th, 2018 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
