Monster Hunter World Releasing on PC This Autumn

Monster Hunter World is releasing on Xbox One and PS4 this month. The PC version is still in development but Capcom has narrowed the release window for autumn of this year.

In a new video Monster Hunter’s official Twitter account, World producer Ryozo Tsujimoto provided an update on the PC version’s status.

“We’re working hard on it right now and aiming for an Autumn 2018 release. We’ll update you with more details later and thank you for your patience.”

This may seem like bad news for PC players, waiting months while console gamers have access to the game, but it's clear that Capcom wants to ensure the release for Monster Hunter World is ideal for all gamers. If extra development time is necessary to ensure a smooth experience so be it.

Monster Hunter World releases for Xbox One and PS4 on January 26th.
