Detective Pikachu Coming To The West This March, Limited-Edition Amiibo Coming As Well

Detective Pikachu hasn't been available outside of Japan, but now western audiences can finally enjoy the game this year.

The Pokemon Company announced Detective Pikachu will launch on March 23nd for 3DS.

Take the role of young Tim Goodman and explore with his talkative partner Pikachu in the action-adventure game Detective Pikachu […] Tim and this gruff, coffee-drinking Pikachu have teamed up to investigate the disappearance of Tim’s father. Look for clues, talk to witnesses, and uncover the secrets of Ryme City!

In addition, the game a special amiibo featuring Detective Pikachu will be released. The amiibo is twice the size of an original amiibo and features Detective Pikachu wearing his hat. It'll unlock short videos to help you in the game.
