Latest Metal Gear Survive Focuses On The Importance of Cooperative Play And Planning

The beta for Metal Gear Survive is now live but that hasn't stopped Konami was releasing new gameplay footage of the game. This time focusing on cooperative play and proper planning.

In the trailer, Konami shows the variety of weapons, gear, and the importance of teamwork. Working together with the gear available to devastate the opposing force using traps and coordinated attacks. Best of all the trailer confirms that players can summon a Metal Gear Ray to aid in battle.

It does seem strange to have Metal Gear Ray since the robotic weapon debuted in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Survive takes place after Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, but who cares. A giant robot on your side is always a positive.

Metal Gear Survive will release on February 20th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The beta is now live until January 21st.
