Call of Duty: WWII The Resistance Community Event Announced

A new event is coming to Call of Duty: WWII that includes new weapons, commendations, and the return of a community favorite modes from January 23rd until February 27th.

First off 3 new weapons are being added to the game:

Volkssturgewehr rifle
ORSO sub-machine gun
9mm SAP pistol

Just like the Winter Siege weapons players can unlock the standard version of these guns through Order's or individual variants through new Resistance Supply Drops.

Players will have access to a brand new Resistance Division that allows players to use the tactical knife with their pistols, scramble nearby enemy mini-maps, additional pistol attachment, and mini-map indicator in the direction of close hostiles. Those who've played Modern Warfare 2 will have vexing memories of tactical knife players already.

2 new game modes are coming. Demolition is returning, which is variant of Search and Destroy from past Call of Duty games. The 2nd mode is Prop Hunt where one team takes control of items around the map and the other team hunts them down.

Players will gain access to a new Resistance Supply Drop each week along with double experience playlist during the event.

Call of Duty: WWII is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
