Last month Nintendo confirmed that Mario Kart would be joining Nintendo's mobile library with Mario Kart Tour. While no details were given DeNA, a mobile partner of Nintendo, just released new information regarding the game.
Translated via Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuki, during DeNA’s latest financial briefing the company confirmed that Mario Kart Tour will be free to start. This is another way to say free-to-play and should follow the same system as Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and Fire Emblem: Heroes, and not Super Mario Run.
Mario Kart Tour will be released on mobile devices before March 2019.
