Some days ago, Funcom was teasing a new project with a countdown website. We now know that said project is Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden. The title is a tactical adventure game set in a post-human Earth, which combines XCOM-style turn-based tactical combat with real-time exploration and stealth gameplay. Players will control a team of heroes which include Dux (a crossbow-wielding, walking, talking duck) and Bormin (a boar with serious anger issues), in an attempt to guide them through Earth's abandoned cities and crumbling highways.
Published by Funcom and developed by The Bearded Ladies (which include former Hitman designers as well as Ulf Andersson, former Payday designer), Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden is set to release in 2018 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Have a look at the game's website.
