Far Cry 5 comes out in a few weeks and Ubisoft is encouraging gamers to invest in the season pass. It comes with 3 DLC expansions called Hours of Darkness, Lost on Mars, and Dead Living Zombies. The theme for each is war, space, and zombies.
The post-launch DLC Hours of Darkness is set within the Vietnam War. This DLC focuses on stealth and survival and the player invades a Viet-Cong camp to rescue prisoners of war.
DLC 2, Lost on Mars, gives you a jetpack and launches you to Mars. Here you must defend a Mars base from Martian attack. The final DLC package is a modern zombie horde shooter with 7 scenarios.
No final details were given, such as release dates. You can purchase the DLC separately as part of the season pass plan for $29.99 or together with Far Cry 5 for $89.99 with the Gold Edition, Steelbook Edition for $99.99, and Collector's Edition.
Most significant addition for those who get the season pass is the inclusion of Far Cry 3 Classic Edition. Which will be provided to all season pass holders 4 weeks before it goes public.
The trailer showcase the Far Cry 5 Live Events. This constantly updates the game with new challenges with unique rewards.
In addition to the new information, Ubisoft released a new trailer showcasing the DLC content. This after the release of the Arcade mode coming to the game at launch. Far Cry Arcade will all players to create custom levels, both from the gamers and Ubisoft, and upload them for people to play.
Far Cry 5 launches on March 27th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
