GTA returning to Vice City
News by Grayshadow on Mar 08, 2018
As you might expect other than Red Dead Redemption the most popular IP from Rockstar is the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Now a new rumor is circulating that the next game will be set in Vice City and star a woman.
According to Rooster Teeth's The Know, Ashley Jenkins and Gustavo Sorola cited an insider source for the information but advise to take the news with a grain of salt. According to Rooster Teeth, the source stated the game is being called Project Americas and will use the Miami setting, which could mean Florida's Vice City.
In addition to the setting, The Know stated that the game will star a woman, a first in the franchise. However, this isn't confirmed by Rockstar and no details were given.
The last piece of information about GTA 6 was said it'll be 3-4 years from release, with a window of 2022. All things considered, we won't be hearing much about GTA VI considering Rockstar is still working on Red Dead Redemption 2 and it's post-release content.
In the latest set of rumors coming from Rockstar, Take-Two recently renewed their patent on Manhunt. With many hoping for a re-release of the original games or a new installment.
GTA V came out in 2013 for Xbox 360 and PS3 before being ported to Xbox One, PS4, and PC with million of sales.
