While some are still fanning the flames for pointing out reasons to be offended by Far Cry 5 not being political enough, or being too political in some cases. Critics were pleased about the game's use of American rural countryside living to produce an entertaining adventure full of excellent characters. In celebration, Ubisoft released an accolades trailer highlighting some of the scores.
As you can expect scores and quotes from IGN, Gamespot, PlayStation Universe, and more are shown throughout the video with gameplay.
I reviewed Far Cry 5 and gave it a 7.5. While it didn't leave the same impression as Far Cry 3 I highlighted that Far Cry 5's atmosphere, characters, and gameplay were among the strongest in the franchise. With Eden's Gate and all of the Seed family stealing the show thanks to impressive performances and excellent dialogue. However, technical issues made much of the game a vexing experience.
Far Cry 5 is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
