Bethesda announced that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be available for free this weekend on Xbox One and Steam.
Xbox Live and Steam users can download the entire game, including DLC, and play for free. Achievements and progress will be saved if you decide to purchase the game but only Xbox Live Gold members can access the promotion. Those on PlayStation 4 will have access to the promotional discount during the free trial.
From now through Monday, April 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can journey for free in Skyrim Special Edition on the Xbox One. PC players also have the opportunity to play free through April 16th on Steam. If you choose to purchase Skyrim Special Edition during the Free Weekend, your save data will carry over, PLUS you'll get savings of up to 50% off the game, containing the core game and all three add-ons – Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn, in addition to select free and discounted Creation Club releases. Skyrim Special Edition will also be in the Deals with Xbox Live Gold program for 50% off through April 23rd, with matching discounts on Steam and PlayStation 4 for all users.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is now available for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
