The London Spitfire Claim The First Overwatch League Championship

After dozens of matches and brutal competition, The London Spitfire has emerged as the first team to win The Overwatch League.

London Spitfire was able to defeat the Philadelphia Fusion, 3/0, a bit of a lopsided victory but a win nevertheless. During the press conference after the match Seung-Tae "Bdosin" Choi said "I didn't think it'd be so easy. Next year I hope we play stronger team." The team will take home a $1,000,000 prize, as well as a gauntlet-style trophy.

Despite the loss, Fusion remained adamant in learning from this and coming back stronger than ever.

The Overwatch League has become the biggest eSport's event in recent history, selling out the entire Barclay's Center and becoming the center of eSports development.
